Separate a WebGPU error from a download in progress or a capacity notice, then follow the matching checks without wiping your save.

Match the fix to the message on your screen. A graphics API warning, a game-data counter and a server-capacity notice are different problems. Do not start by clearing all site data: that can remove browser-local progress.
If you see a WebGPU warning
The original page requires WebGPU and recommends a current Chrome, Edge or Safari. Update the browser, close and reopen it, then load the original game directly. Check that your operating system and graphics driver support the browser’s graphics features.
On Chrome or Edge, inspect the browser’s System settings for hardware/graphics acceleration. If your device is managed by an organization, a policy can control this option. A browser update cannot override a device or policy limitation. Do not treat bypassing browser security warnings as a normal game fix.
For an explanation of WebGPU and its platform limitations, see MDN’s WebGPU reference. The author’s Windows download is an alternative to investigate when the browser path is unavailable, not a guaranteed cure for every GPU problem.
If the download counter is moving
During our visit, the game showed Downloading game data with a file counter before the menu appeared. Give an advancing counter time to finish. Closing unrelated heavy tabs can free resources, but it does not make an unavailable server respond.
If the same counter stops advancing for an extended period, note the exact text and whether other websites still load. Check the connection, then try one reload. Repeated reloads without a diagnosis make it harder to distinguish a slow first load from a persistent failure.
If the page says too many people are playing
The original page provides the creator’s Discord and Windows download as alternatives. Check the visible message rather than a search engine’s cached snippet. Our visit reached the menu; this page is not a live uptime monitor.
If you get a black screen or poor performance
Record whether the black screen appears before the menu or after starting a run.
Try the original game directly instead of an embedded third-party page.
Reopen the browser after updating it and close unneeded heavy applications or tabs.
If you can reach the menu, inspect Options → Graphics. Change one option at a time so you can tell whether it helped.
If the problem persists, report the game version, browser version, operating system and the exact symptom to the author’s community.
These are diagnostic steps, not a measured fix for a particular graphics device. We do not publish a universal FPS preset without testing it.
Protect your progress before a reset
A fresh browser profile may help isolate a problem, but it will not automatically contain the old profile’s save. Export your save first when the game is accessible. Keep the original profile and backup until you have verified the character in the new environment. Clearing caches and clearing site storage are not the same operation; avoid deleting storage as a first response.
Will changing class fix a WebGPU error?
No. The game needs the graphics capability before a class can be played. Resolve the launch problem first.
Should I use a random mirror when the site is busy?
The author’s original page already supplies its own Windows download and community link. A mirror can add version and save-location uncertainty.
Sources and limits
Original launcher and its loading screen, checked October 27, 2026; MDN WebGPU for the browser API. We observed a successful menu load on this visit, not a cross-device compatibility test.
Menu observations are dated. A newer game build may change the details. See our editorial policy for evidence and limitations. About →
